Should You Waive Contingencies to Win a Bidding War?

In our market it's not usually necessary. One option instead of waiving the contingency all together is to make your contract AS IS. You are still protected with the inspection. You can walk away from the deal if the inspection turns up too much work for you to handle. But you won't be re-negotiating the price with the seller.
